Key Indian benchmark indices falter on Wednesday

Mumbai, May 23 (IBNS): The Indian market toppled over on Wednesday, with BSE Sensex down by 306.33 points at 34344.91 and NSe Nifty down by 106.30 points at 10430.40.

Weak global cues were largely responsible for the loss.

Some of the key stocks that gained on Wednesday were SBI, L&T, Tata Motors, M&M, Tech Mahindra, Cipla, NTPC and Grasim while HPCL, Vedanta, Tata Steel, BPCL, Dr Reddy's Labs, IndusInd Bank, ITC and ONGC were some of the keys stocks that declined.
