Indian market closes lower on Tuesday after a volatile day

Mumbai, Jun 5 (IBNS): The Indian market, which saw significant volatility through Tuesday, ended lower at the close of day, according to media reports.

On Tuesday, BSE Sensex was down 108.68 points at 34,903.21, and NSE Nifty was down 35.30 points at 10,593.20.

Some of the key stocks that gained on Tuesday were Cipla, Bajaj Finance, Reliance, Tata Steel, Maruti Suzuki, HDFC Bank and HDFC while Idea Cellular, Zee Entertainment, Coal India, L&T, Dr Reddy's Labs, Yes Bank, Titan Company and Bharti Airtel reported losses.
