Hyundai announces price increase for Grand i10 model up to 3%

Mumbai, July 17 (IBNS): Automobile giant Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL) on Tuesday announced a price increase up to 3 percent on grand i10 due to increase in input and material costs.

"The revised prices will be implemented from August 2018," Hyundai Motor India Ltd. said in a statement.

Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL), the country’s second largest car manufacturer and the largest passenger car exporter since inception registered the domestic sales of 45,371 units with a growth of 21% for the month of June 2018.

Commenting on the H1 Sales Rakesh Srivastava, Director - Sales and Marketing, HMIL said, “Hyundai product portfolio is very young and youthful and is backed by industry No. 1 Customer Service, this has brought in strong acceptance of Hyundai as Modern Premium brand with highest ever H1 volume of 2,75,136 units, with a growth of 8.6% led by Super Performer brands GRAND i10, New ELITE i20, New 2018 CRETA and Next Gen VERNA.”

"GRAND i10, New ELITE i20 and New 2018 CRETA - Each continues to cross over 10,000 sales mark consistently while Next Gen VERNA continues to be the leading Sedan in Hyundai Portfolio" he added.
