Gurgaon, Oct 6 (IBNS)Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited (SSTL) that provides telecom services under the brand MTS on Monday decided to go against the tide set by other telecom operators and announced the launch of GB Festival in line with the festive spirit.

Through the GB Festival; MTS has rolled out a number of exciting offerings for its new as well as existing data customers.

The company is committed to take its data services to a larger number of people and has thus further lowered the price barrier for first time data customers.

"New data customers can now buy an MBlaze Ultra WiFi dongle for just Rs. 999 which is almost half of what the competition is offering. MTS has also introduced a wide range of monthly usage plans suiting the needs of customers across categories. Interestingly, MTS is the only telecom operator in India today to offer such quantum of data usage at aggressive price points with data speeds of up to 9.8 Mbps on its 3GPlus telecom network," the company said in a statement.

Leonid Musatov, Chief Marketing & Brand Officer, MTS India, said,“With the festive season ringing in, MTS India is excited to bring a slew of offerings for its data customers. We have lowered the price barrier for first time data customers with as much as 33% reduction in dongle prices. We have also rolled out a range of monthly data plans to suit the needs of customers across categories. The genesis of the GB festival lies in the simple insight that customers want more for each rupee spent and I am happy to share that MTS has addressed this customer need.”
