Hero Motocorp's new scooter Hero Destini 125 arrives in Kolkata

Kolkata, Dec 7 (IBNS): Hero Motocorp has finally entered the highly competitive 125cc scooter segment with the launch of Hero Destini 125.
 
Hero Destini 125, which will be available at Hero's showrooms in Kolkata, has been pegged at Rs. 56,950 for the city market, the company said.
 
The new model was recently unveiled in the city in the presence of Tollywood actor Arunima Ghosh.
 
The company's zonal head, Satish Prabhu, Deputy Zonal manager, Neeraj Tiwari, and Senior Area manager, Ghanshyam Bagra were also present at the launch.
 
The scooter comes in four metallic colors, Noble Red, Chestnut Bronze, Panther Black and Pearl Silver-white.
 
According to the company, Hero Destini 125 is the only scooter in India withs an efficient Start-Stop System. 
 
It also provides 17 per cent higher torque and 9 per cent higher power than 110cc scooters, the company said.
 
Other features include external fuel filling system, remote key opening, mobile charging port and boot light. 
 
Arunima Ghosh, during the launch, reminded everyone that it is important to implement the 'Safe Drive, Save Life' campaign in spirit too as the number of drunken driving cases and accidents related to them are on the rise in Kolkata.
 
While drinking is not a crime, drunken driving is, emphasized Ghosh.
