Mumbai, Feb 21 (UNI): The Rupee on Thursday rose by two paise at 71.07 against the US Dollar in early trade on selling of US Dollars by bankers and exporters, dealers at forex market said.
Weak dollar against other currencies overseas kept the rupee up, the dealers said.
A major fluctuation was seen in the local unit as it recorded intra day high and low at 71.09 and 70.91 respectively, they added.
