Sensex rises by 111.20 pts

Mumbai, Mar 13 (UNI): The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Wednesday advanced further 111.20 points at 37,646.80 as buying was seen in Realty, Bankex, IT Tech and Technology stock stocks.

The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too rose by 14.95 points to 11,316.15

The Sensex registered intra day high and low at 37,703.49 and 37,478.87 respectively.

The Nifty recorded intra-day high and low at 11,342.10 and 11,276.60 points respectively.

The gainers were HDFC Bank by 2.16 pc to Rs 2217.55, HCL Tech by 2.00 pc to Rs 1032.75, Indusbank by 1.90 pc to Rs 1600.85, Bajaj Finance by 1.21 pc to Rs 3027.40.

The losers were VEDL by 2.78 pc to Rs 173.30, ONGC by 2.20 pc to Rs 148.85, NTPC by 1.89 pc to Rs 148.75, Tata Motors DVR by 1.88 pc to Rs 91.25 and Tata steel by 1.63 pc to Rs 515.60.
