Bajaj Auto Oct 2020 sale move up by 11 pc to 512,038 units

Mumbai/UNI: Auto major, Bajaj Auto has reported a rise of 11 per cent in its total sales for the month of October 2020 at 512,038 units as against 463,208 units in October 2019.

The company clocked its highest ever exports sales of 230,878 units during October 2020, 25 pc higher than 184,432 units in October 2019.

The company has sold 470,290 units of motorcycles during October 2020, as compared to 398,913 in October 2019, an increase of 18 pc. This was highest ever sales and Pulsar brand recorded highest ever sale of over 170,000 units.

Exports of motorcycles was 29 pc higher at 201,659 in October 2020, as against 156,397 in October 2019. Whereas, the domestic sales of motorcycles increased 11 pc to 268,631 units in October 2020 as compared to 242,516 units in October 2019.

The exports sales was the highest ever till date.

Commercial Vehicles sales dropped 44 pc to 36455 units in October 2020, as compared to 65305 in October 2019.

Exports of Commercial Vehicles was at 27224 units in October 2020, as against 27152 in October 2019.

Domestic sales of Commercial Vehicles dropped 76 pc in October 2020 to 9231 units as compared to 38153 units in October 2019.
