CapitalVia 'India Ideathon' finale held in Indore

Indore, June 24 (IBNS): CapitalVia Global Research Limited's 'India Ideathon' held its finale in Indore on Tuesday.

The competition which opened on Oct 5, 2013, to honour fresh and innovative business ideas, proved to be a huge platform for aspiring entrepreneurs.

A competitive forum with a jury of the best industry representatives, India Ideathon had chosen 18 most promising ideas from among many responses received from across India, in its second phase, the results of which were announced on 1st May.

Anshika Chaudhary and Jaideep Singh bagged the 1st prize of Rs. 1 lakh. Ravi Kumar bagged the 2nd prize winning a cash amount of Rs 50,000.  Piyush Kand bagged 3rd prize with a cash amount of Rs 25,000. The rest of the 15 participants were given a cash prize of Rs. 5000 and a certificate of appreciation.

Congratulating the winners on the occasion, Rohit Gadia, CapitalVia Global Research Limited, Founder & CEO, said, "The only way India can transform into a developed economy is by unleashing the entrepreneurial energy of its youth. The India Ideathon initiative is our endeavour in that direction and we were overwhelmed with the response we received from across the country.
