Dalmia Biz to launch venture in the Indian healthcare industry

New Delhi, July 20 (IBNS) With the vision to revolutionize the Indian healthcare industry through an innovative and "disruptive" model, Dalmia Biz intends to launch its project aimed at becoming the largest organized player in the sector.

India's healthcare sector is growing at a compound annual growth rate of 16 per cent and is expected to be $280 billion in size by 2020.

However, there is a massive need for holistic healthcare service providers assuring quality and trust to the consumer. In the last 1 year, hundreds of healthcare technologies and solutions have emerged, leaving the consumer more confused and perplexed, said Dalmia Biz in a media release.

It said the lack of organized players is only growing as the space becomes more cluttered.

This  business model will be launched sometime in August 2016 in the Delhi NCR market, followed by pan India presence.

It is believed that Mr Vivek Gupta, who has been a serial entrepreneur, currently the CEO of Dalmia Biz along with Sushan Rungta, CTO and Aman Malik, CMO have been working in the stealth mode along with a team of more than 30 people to transform this vision into reality.

However, the innovative plans and detailed business model is yet not disclosed by the company. When reached out, the CEO Vivek Gupta said, “There is a lot that is done and lot’s that needs to be done. Soon we will have the biggest news for the healthcare industry. We will soon inform you about our plans in detail and answer all your questions.”
