Indian benchmark indices close positive on Thursday

Mumbai, Nov 23 (IBNS): The Indian market closed positive on Thursday, with BSE Sensex up 26.53 points at 33588.08 and NSE Nifty up 6.50 points at 10348.80.

Top gainers included Infosys, BHEL, Sun Pharma, Reliance, Axis Bank, Eicher Motors and Tech Mahindra while Idea Cellular, Dr Reddys Labs, Adani Ports, Bajaj Auto, Asian Paints, NTPC and GAIL declined.

Meanwhile, stock exchange BSE has said in a circular that it will auction investment limits (on BSE's ebidxchange platform from 3.30 pm to 5.30pm) on Friday, which will enable foreign investors to purchase corporate bonds worth over Rs 8,300 crore.
