Indian Market: Sensex drops 237.44 points

New Delhi: The BSE Sensex on Wednesday tanked 237.44 points to settle at 58,338.93 on selling in auto, bankex and realty stocks.

The Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) too fell 54.65 points at 17,475.65.

The Sensex registered the day's high and low at 59,003.82 and 58,291.23 points respectively.

The Nifty recorded the day's high and low at 17,663.65 and 17,457.40 respectively.
