Indian Market: Sensex jumps 1039.80 pts

New Delhi: The BSE Sensex on Wednesday bounced back 1039.80 pts to close at 56,816.65 on positive Asian market trends.

The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) surged 312.35 pts to close at 16,975.35.

The Sensex registered the day's high and low at 56,860.89 and 56,389.26 pts respectively.

The Nifty recorded the day's high and low at 16,987.90 and 16,837.85 respectively.
