Indian Market: Sensex regains 708.18 points

Mumbai: The BSE Sensex on Friday, the first day of the new financial year, bounced back 708.18 points, breaching 59K-mark to 59,276.69 at close on strong global cues.

The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too jumped 205.70 points at 17,670.45.

The Sensex registered days high and low at 59,396.62 and 58,450.04 points respectively.

The Nifty recorded days high and low at 17,703.70 and 17,422.70.
