Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Friday bounced back by 34 paise to close at 73.14 against the greenback on fresh selling of US Dollar by bankers and exporters, dealers at the Forex Market said.

The local unit that rose by two paise to 73.45 in opening trade, surged further by 34 paise to close positive at 73.13 as compared to its previous close.

The Rupee rose because of weak Dollar against other world currencies, the dealers added.

The rupee registered intra days high and low at 73.51 and 73.10 respectively, they said.
