Indian Rupee down 35 paise against USD
Mumbai/UNI: Erasing Friday's gains, the Rupee on Monday dropped by 35 paise to end negative at 74.27 on brisk demand for US Dollars by bankers and importers, dealers at Forex Market said.
The local unit that fell by 10 paise to 74.02 in opening trade tumbled down by 35 paise to close at 74.27 as compared to last close.
The domestic unit registered day high and low at 74.35 and 74.04 respectively.
The Rupee heavily down on strong dollar against other world currencies amid negative equity market, the dealer added.
