Indian Rupee down by 21 paise against USD
Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Monday slipped by 21 paise to touch 74 level in opening trade on rising demand for US Dollars by bankers and importers, dealers at the Forex Market said.
The local unit remained weak on strong dollar against other world currencies amid negative stock market in opening trade, dealer informed.
A major oscillation was seen in early trade today as local unit registered intra day high and low at 74.04 and 73.84 respectively, they added.
