Indian Rupee ends negative at 71.36 against USD
Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Friday ended negative at 71.36, easing by three paise on rising demand for US Dollars by bankers and importers, dealers at Forex Market said.
The local unit that rose by 3 paise to 71.30 in opening trade, finally closed at 71.36, declining by three paise as compared to last close.
The domestic unit registered day high and low at 71.41 and 71.28 respectively.
The Indian currency remained weak because of firm dollar against other world currencies amid negative equity market dealer added.
