Indian Rupee gains 10 paise against USD

Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Tuesday gained by ten paise at 71.83 against the greenback on easing in global crude oil prices, dealers at the Forex Market said.

The local unit that advanced 22 paise to 71.71 in opening trade, slightly eased during the day, but manged to end positive only at 71.83, up by ten paise as compared to its last close.

The domestic unit recorded day high and low at 71.87 and 71.67 respectively.

The Rupee improved on weak Dollar against other world currencies amid rebounding equity market, they added.
