Indian rupee up by 5 paise against USD
Mumbai, May 22 (UNI) The Rupee on Wednesday gained by five paise to 69.66 on brisk demand for US Dollars by importers, dealers at Forex Market said.
The domestic unit that opened at 69.67, rising by four paise finished at 69.66, advancing by 5 paise as compared to its last close.
The partially convertible rupee was trading at 69.78 days high and 69.65 day low during the day.
The Indian currency remained firm for the seventh straight session because weak Dollar against other world currencies and rebounding equity market, the dealers said.
