Infosys undertakes sanitation drive: completes construction of 346 toilets in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Feb 1 (IBNS): Infosys Foundation in association with Akanksha, the CSR arm of Infosys Bhubaneswar, on Monday announced the successful completion of construction of 346 toilets in 106 schools of Odisha, as part of its endeavor to support the Prime Minister's 'Swachh Bharat Swachh Vidyalaya Abhiyan' mission in two phases.

The second hand over ceremony was attended by Pranab Prakash Das, Minister of Energy, Electronics and IT, Government of Odisha, Priyadarshi Mishra, MLA Bhubaneswar North, Government of Odisha, Pradeep Kumar Jena, IAS, Principal Secretary, Water Resource and IT, Government of Odisha, and Prabhat Kumar Das, Centre Head, Infosys Bhubaneswar.

Under the auspices of its charitable arm, Infosys Foundation, it supports the underprivileged sections of society with programs focused towards the areas of education, rural development, healthcare, arts and culture, and destitute care.
