Jet Airways to help its pilots in finding jobs in other airlines

New Delhi, May 9 (UNI): Grounded airline Jet Airways on Thursday said the carrier would made all effort in placing its pilots in other airlines on furlough with short, medium, long or permanent contracts.

Jet Airways' spokesperson Rahul Taneja said the decision was taken in the meeting of management here.

He said in the process of restructuring the company due to which it has some excess pilots, would help them in placing into other airlines.

The airline also required some highly skilled and experienced crew that are current and rated on B777, A330, B737 and ATR. The crew comprises of trainers, captains and first officers.

Meanwhile, Jet Airways’ full-time director Gautam Shetty has resigned from the company's board of directors for financial reasons.
