Kolkata, Oct 21 (IBNS): Samsung India on Thursday announced the launch of its new version of My Galaxy application, an entertainment hub and life-services application exclusively available to Indian users of Samsung Galaxy mobile devices.

As compared to its predecessor, the user experience in the new My Galaxy application has been significantly enhanced to provide a unique all-in-one experience to consumers.

My Galaxy, which was unveiled last year along with Samsung Z3 smart phone, has 10 million downloads on Google Playstore so far.

“At Samsung, we continuously strive to create value for our customers by providing differentiated solutions and services coupled with innovative devices. The new My Galaxy has been developed keeping in mind the Indian consumers and their smartphone usage habits. It is a testimony to our passion for innovation and localization,” Manu Sharma, Vice President, Mobiles business, Samsung India Electronics, said.

Developed completely by Indian R&D team at Samsung R&D Institute (SRI), Bangalore, the new My Galaxy serves the diverse needs of consumers through a single application that is deeply integrated with the partner ecosystem.

Dipesh Shah, Managing Director, Samsung Research India, Bangalore said, “The application has been designed to deliver a simple and seamless experience to consumers by a team of our user experience designers, tech experts and great collaboration from our partners. We strongly believe that it would help de-clutter the device, by bringing everything that consumers use their smartphones for, at one place with ease and convenience.”
