Lawrence & Mayo expands it’s horizon with the launch of 6 exclusive premium optical stores across India

Kolkata, Aug 19 (IBNS): India’s first optical retailer, Lawrence & Mayo and the only premium and most preferred eyewear brand which started its operations since 1877 from Kolkata, is expanding its horizon with the launch of 6 exclusive premium store across India.

Among these, 3 stores with latest eye care facilities are in Kolkata (Tollygunge, Kasba) and Barasat.

One in Bhubaneswar and the other is in Delhi.

Lawrence and Mayo has always been recognized as a brand providing holistic eye care services along with offering the latest in eyewear for people of all age groups.

These premium showrooms will showcase a wide range of eyewear and eye care services like Digital eye testing, Contact lens clinic, Trained Optometrists, Branded Display lounge, PET (Precision Eye Testing) and Fast track Ophthalmologist check up.

The stores will also house an array of frames and sunglasses from international brands like Emporio Armani, Cartier, Silhouette, Mont Blanc, Dolce & Gabbana, Burberry, Tag Heuer, Versace, Rayban, Vogue, Tommy Hilfiger, CK and many more.

Apart from the huge collection of eyewear, the new store will also have contact lens lounge and digital ophthalmic lens lounge offering optimum vision screening and first of its kind eye care services.

Tollywood actors Sreelekha Mitra , Arunima Ghosh,  inaugurated them.

The main event was organized at the Tollygunge Store where Suman Anjoy, Zonal Head- North & East, Lawrence & Mayo and other promoters of Lawrence and Mayo was also present at the event.

Speaking on the occasion,  Suman Anjoy, Zonal Head- North & East, Lawrence & Mayo said, “Lawrence and Mayo has always been the preferred opticians for eminent personalities like Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, JRM Tata, Queen Victoria, Rabindranath Tagore, Amitabh Bachchan, Sunil Dutt and the likes.”  He further added that “Lawrence & Mayo with a current All India network has embarked upon a robust expansion drive with a growth rate of 11% every year and is all set to open 80 new exclusive outlets in India by 2021 end primarily targeting the Tier-I and Tier-II cities. “
