MAAC inaugurates 3D animation and VFX training centre in B'lore
The centre will offer the entire range of advanced cinematic courses such as, Advance Diploma in 3D Animation EDGE (AD3D EDGE), D3D, VFX, etc.
The centre is being inaugurated by K M Chaitanya, Award Winning Film Director and BBC Documentary Film Maker.
The centre is equipped with infrastructure to train students on the latest 3D Animation & Visual Effects technology.
Karnataka is a huge market for animation and multimedia with the Kannada Film Industry utilizing VFX to a great extent. Consequently, VFX Plus and Multimedia courses are being introduced in the centre, to make the prospective students industry-ready.
M Prakash, Director of Studies at Seshadripuram Educational Trust was present as the guest of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, Ram Warrier, MAAC said, “The requirement for skilled professionals has increased by leaps and bounds and we are sure that our Yelahanka Centre will be able to contribute to the 3D Animation and VFX industry by producing well-trained individuals with thorough knowledge of the fundamentals of the industry.”
K M Chaitanya, Award Winning Film Director and BBC Documentary Film Maker, resonated Warrier’s thoughts and said, “Animation sectors is gaining lot of traction in India, thanks to the large talent pool that is available at a very reasonable cost. The industry needs trained professionals who can contribute to a project from day one. I wish MAAC-Yelahanka centre the best and hope they are successful in their endeavor of providing the industry with polished talent.”
