Myshop Connect opens retail store in Delhi

The opening saw a big rush of shoppers who wanted to avail the inaugural offers and discounts.

Myshopbazzar.com is planning to open a chain of retail outlets under the brand name of 'Myshop Connect'.

They plan to open 50 such retail stores pan India by the end of 2015 and 300
stores by December 2016.

'Myshop Connect' retail stores will cover every locality/suburb of metros, tier-2 and tier-3 cities.

The inauguration was done by Pravin Rana, Deputy Mayor MCD - South Delhi and Radhika Sethia, Chairperson, West Zone Councillors (BJP).

On the occasion Sethia said, "It is a proud moment for all of us. Myshopbazzar.com has taken the initiative to support the 'Make in India' campaign by promoting the products of small and upcoming Indian entrepreneurs on its online portal and retail stores. Such platform will contribute to the development of the country."

When asked about the contradiction of an online shopping portal opening
physical retail outlets, the CMD of Myshopbazzar.com, Manoranjan Mohanty
said: "Myshop Connect retail stores will not contradict Myshopbazzar.com but
will in fact compliment it."

He said, "As per a survey conducted by us, it came to light that though the number of online shoppers is increasing significantly but at times, there is a feeling of disconnect unlike in a retail store where a buyer interacts in person with the seller. Opening 'Myshop Connect' retail stores will attract more and more shoppers to Myshopbazzar.com. This will help us in becoming the dominant player in online shopping industry. This novel concept has also attracted many
potential investors who wish to invest money with us to expand our operations. We have almost finalized a deal with an eminent overseas investor and will shortly make an announcement in this regard."
