Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Thursday gained ten paise to 71.57 on selling of US Dollars by bankers and importers, dealers at Forex Market said.
The local unit that rose by 2 paise to 71.65 in opening trade ended positive at 71. 57 up by 10 paise as compared to last close.
The domestic unit registered day high and low at 71.70 and 71.55 respectively.
The indian currency remained strong on weak dollar against other world currencies inspite of negative equity market dealer added.
