Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Thursday rose marginally by three paise to 71.19 against the US Dollar on selling of US Dollars by bankers and exporters, the dealers at the Forex Market said.
The local unit that fell by 2 paise to 71.24 in early trade ended positive at 71.19, up by three paise as compared to its last close.
The domestic unit recorded day high and low at 71.30 and 71.17 respectively.
The Rupee increased owing to weak Dollar against other world currencies amid strong equity market, they added.
