Sensex closes 50 points down

Mumbai, May 5 (IBNS): The Sensex ended 50 points down as the Indian market closed on Tuesday.

The Sensex closed at 50.45 points down at 27440.14 points.

The Nifty on the other hand closed 7.15 points at 8324.80.
