Stock Market: Sensex falls over 100 pts

Mumbai/UNI: The BSE Sensex on Wednesday fell by 136 pts to 43,816.15 as selling was seen in Materials, Energy, FMCG, IT and Telecom stocks.

The Nifty of National Stock Exchange too eased by 38 pts to 12,836.45.

The Sensex registered intra-day high and low at 44,051.66 and 43,816.15 pts respectively.

The Nifty registered intra-day high and low at 12,901.75 and 12,836.45 respectively.

The Mid Cap moved up by 0.83 and Small Cup by 0.75 pc respectively.

In 30 scrips 14 advanced while 16 declined.

The losers were Hind Unilever by 1.63 pc to Rs 2140.95, Titan by 1.57 pc to Rs 1281.10, Tata Steel by 1.43 pc to Rs 515.30 and TCS by 1.25 pc to Rs 2633.

The gainers were M&M by 3.56 pc to Rs 659.75, L& T by 2.65 pc to Rs 1109.90, SBI by 2.44 pc to Rs 246.05 and Bajaj Finance by 2.34 pc to Rs 4593.
