TCS expands capacity in Bhubaneswar

Kolkata, Dec 10 (IBNS): Tata Consultancy Services , a leading IT services, consulting and business solutions organization, today announced the inauguration of Phase II of its campus at Kalinga Park in Bhubaneswar by Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik.

Debi Prasad Mishra, Minister Industries & SME, Pranab Prakash Das, Minister Energy & IT,  Ashok Chandra Panda, Minister Tourism & Culture and Aditya Prasad Padhi, Chief Secretary, Government Of Odisha were present at the venue.

Also present on the occasion were MP Prasanna Kumar Patasani as well as local MLAs Priyadarshi Mishra and Bijaya Kumar Mohanty.

TCS Kalinga Park is among the greenest buildings in India and has been designed as India's first Platinum-rated LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) IT Campus. The Kalinga Park campus developed over 45 acres of land is an addition to the company’s unique Global Network Delivery Model (GNDM) now has an operational capacity with 4000 seats.

TCS Kalinga Park campus is an approved Special Economic Zone and serves global TCS customers in industry segments like Banking & Financial Services, Retail, Telecom, Manufacturing, and Government with a focus on technology areas like Enterprise Solutions, Assurance Services and IT services. TCS has been operating in Odisha since 1999 and is ranked among the top software exporters from Odisha.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr N Chandrasekaran, CEO & MD, TCS said, “Odisha has a strong education ecosystem that is helping source great talent from the region. We are delighted with the growth of our operations and the support of the state government that will help us drive growth of the IT industry in the state.”
