Toyota launches Corolla Altis, New Etios Cross in Kolkata
Both the vehicles were unveiled in February at the Auto Expo 2014.
Present at the occasion was N. Raja, Director and Sr. Vice President, Sales & Marketing, TKM along with Ashok Manaktala, Dealer Principal, Topsel Toyota, Kolkata and Amrik Saini, Dealer Principal, Saini Toyota, Howrah among others.
Speaking on the occasion of the launch here, N. Raja said, “A testimony to Toyota’s craftsmanship, technology and world renowned Quality, Durability and Reliability (QDR)- the Toyota Corolla is world’s No 1 car with more than 40 million cars sold across the globe. We have sold more than 88,500 units since its introduction in India, in 2003 and we are glad to launch the 11th generation of this global car in India. The new Corolla Altis received a very good response after being unveiled for the first time at the Auto Expo in February, 2014. We believe that the New Corolla Altis will further contribute to the growth of the C segment in India."
"Along with the launch of the New Corolla Altis, we have also launched the first ever crossover from Toyota- The New Etios Cross. Etios Cross marks our entry into yet another category in the diverse and fast growing B car segment. The growing crossover segment encouraged us to offer such a unique product to our customers. Aimed towards targeting a whole new set of audience, the new Etios Cross is positioned as a youthful yet rugged offering. We look forward to delighting our customers with the Etios Cross that comes with the globally renowned promise of Toyota’s QDR (Quality, Durability & Reliability),” he said.
Talking about the launch of New Corolla Altis, Ashok Manaktala said, “Toyota products truly stand for Quality, Durability & Reliability and this will be further reiterated with the introduction of the new 11th generation Corolla Altis in India”.
Amrik Saini, Dealer Principal, Saini Toyota said he is confident that the entry of these two new products will enable the company to further strengthen base of happy customers in West Bengal.
