New Delhi/UNI: Delhiites is experiencing a hot on Sunday as the maximum temperature is likely to settle over 40 degrees Celsius, as per the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The minimum temperature was recorded at 28.7 degrees Celsius, two notches above the normal, while the relative humidity recorded at 0830 hours was 61 per cent, the weather office said.
According to IMD, the sky, however, will remain cloudy. There is no possibility of rainfall.
"The maximum temperature will hover around 41 degrees Celsius," the weather office said in its forecast.
On Saturday, the maximum temperature was 40.2 degrees Celsius, normal for the season.
Meanwhile, an IMD official said, "There is no heatwave in Delhi for the next few days."
