6.1 earthquake hits Mediterranean
Al Hoceima, Jan 25 (IBNS): An earthquake measuring 6.1 on the Richter Scale hit the Mediterranean between Morocco and Spain on Monday, officials said.
The US Geological Survey (USGS) website said the epicentre of the quake was located 62km north-north-east of Al Hoceima city of Morocco.
The depth of the quake was 10 kms.
No casualty has been reported so far.
