4.2 earthquake hits Meghalaya

Shillong, Dec 11 (IBNS): An earthquake measuring 4.2 on the Richter Scale hit Meghalaya on Sunday, officials said.

As per the IMD website, the quake hit West Khasi Hills area in the state.

The epicentre of the quake was located at latitude 25.7 degrees north longitude 91.7 degrees east and at a depth of 10 kms.

No casualty has been reported so far.
