'Slight' earthquake hits Uttarakhand

Dehradun, Dec 26 (IBNS): An earthquake measuring 3.5 on the Richter Scale hit Uttarakhand on Monday, officials siad.

As per the IMD website, the earthquake hit Dehradun area in the state.

The epicentre of the quake was located at latitude 30.8 degrees north and  longitude77.9 degrees east.

The quake struck at 14:15 hours.

The IMD webiste called the earthquake as 'slight'.
