Earthquake hits Uttarakhand, no casualty

Dehradun, June 12 (IBNS): An earthquake measuring 3 on the Richter Scale hit Uttarkashi region of Uttarakhand on Monday, officials said.

As per the IMD website, the earthquake hit the state at around 14:41 hours(IST).

The epicentre of the quake was located at latitude 30.7  degrees north and longitutde 78.4 degrees east.

The earthquake hit at a depth of 10 kms.

No casualty or loss to property have been reported so far.
