Mumbai, Sept 21(IBNS/UNI): An earthquake measuring 3.5 on the Richter Scale hit Maharashtra's Palghar area on Friday, officials said.
According to chief of RDMC Santosh Kadam, there was no injury or casualty in the quake, which hit Palghar at 0432 hrs, having Latitude of 20 degrees North and Longitude of 72.8 degrees East.
The quake had focal depth of five km.
No loss of life or damage to the property was reported, he added.
