Yes Bank spreads awareness on Energy Conservation , sustainable living

Bengaluru, May 7 (IBNS): Yes Bank has conducted workshops across its branches on Energy Conservation & Sustainable Living in association with The Climate Reality Project India, an organization working in the field of environment and climate change.

Yes Bank under its community engagement platform Yes Community undertook this initiative, since the Mother Earth Day, with an objective to increase awareness on Energy conservation by giving tips on energy conservation.

The bank’s branches across the country conducted these Awareness drives at RWAs, schools, corporate offices etc. 

Over 25,000 citizens across all walks of life participated in these drives, conducted with an aim to sensitized them towards the importance of Environment conservation and enable them to evolve as responsible and compassionate citizens.

 Namita Vikas, President & Chief Sustainability Officer, YES BANK Ltd., said “YES COMMUNITY is a unique initiative at YES BANK that provides a single platform to engage and synergize with all strata of the society to build a better India. We hope these events inspire people to become environmental stewards and promote sustainable living practices at individual level that impact the local community and planet. This is our gesture towards spreading awareness for a greener tomorrow.”

These engagements under YES-COMMUNITY have helped YES BANK build relationships with its immediate communities that go beyond transactional banker-customer relations to engender trust.”
