India administers over 1 crore vaccine doses in a single day, PM Modi appreciates
New Delhi: India administered more than 1 crore COVID-19 vaccine doses in the past 24 hours, as per data released by the Ministry of Health.
"62.29 Cr. vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive," read the statement.
Indian PM Narendra Modi appreciated the step and tweeted: "Record vaccination numbers today! Crossing 1 crore is a momentous feat. Kudos to those getting vaccinated and those making the vaccination drive a success."

Meanwhile, 46,759 new cases were recorded in the last 24 hours.
Active cases account for 1.10% of total cases.
India's Active caseload stands at 3,59,775.
Recovery Rate currently at 97.56%.
Meanwhile, 31,374 recoveries were recorded in the last 24 hours.
