Kolkata: CMRI hospital observes 54th foundation day
Kolkata/IBNS: CK Birla Group-run multi-speciality hospital in Kolkata, the Calcutta Medical Research Institute (CMRI), on Tuesday observed its 54th foundation day with some of its young and adult patients who had undergone complex treatments successfully.
Senior physicians of the private health facility from different specializations, including Raja Dhar (Director and HOD, Pulmonology), Shyam Krishnan (Interventional Pulmonology), Anupam Golash (Consultant - Plastic Reconstructive Surgery), Ajay Aggarwal (Consultant - Neurosurgery), Deep Das (Consultant - Neurology), and NVK Mohan (Consultant - ENT), were present on the occasion.
Sharing their opinions, the doctors said that "at the very core of a healthcare relationship lies trust."
The hospital also unveiled its 54th foundation anniversary logo during the event.
Expressing his appreciation towards all doctors, nurses, paramedics and non-medical staff, Unit Head of CK Birla Hospitals, Sombrata Roy, emphasized CMRI's commitment to advancing clinical excellence through its "futuristic approaches" and state-of-the-art technologies as well as clinical equipment.
Director and HOD of Pulmonology department of the hospital, Raja Dhar, said all the physicians, and other medical and non-medical staff had played a "team game" in treating patients.
"As team CMRI, we have done an excellent job together in ensuring patients' satisfaction," Raja Dhar said.
"Our infrastructure and expertise are one of the best in the country," he added.
Doctors at CMRI, a 440-bedded hospital established in 1969 in Kolkata's Ekbalpore area, have performed over 250,000 surgeries and served over five million outpatients and 500,000 inpatients, while more than 10,000 international patients have been treated at the facility till date, according to the health facility's records.
