India is moving towards global polio eradication: JP Nadda

New Delhi, Apr 27 (IBNS) Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda said on Wednesday that India is moving towards global polio eradication.

The Minister took to Twitter to express his views.

"India is moving towards global polio eradication by giving double protection to children. #WorldImmunizationWeek," a tweet from his official Twitter account read.

"Both oral drops & IPV works best to provide double protection to children from polio. #VaccinesWork," he said.

India was officially declared 'polio free' by the World Health Organisation on March, 2014.
