Pune/UNI: Third positive case was reported on Friday in Asia's largest slum area in Mumbai's Dharavi in as many days.

The country's financial capital Mumbai is among the virus hotspots.

Maharashtra remains the worst affected state, with 335 positive cases and 13 deaths till Friday morning.

The patient's family was put on isolation and will be tested for the virus later in the day.

Addressing the country via a video message on Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged India's 1.3 billion citizens to switch off the lights at their homes, stand at their doorsteps or balconies, and light candles and diyas at 9 pm on Sunday for nine minutes, in a symbolic attempt to dispel the darkness of the Coronavirus pandemic and give hope.

In Pune, a 46-year lady, who was admitted to government run Sassoon hospital, died of coronavirus on Thursday.
