CMRI partners Kolkata Knight Riders to keep the health of its players in check

Kolkata, Apr 7 (IBNS) : As Kolkata Knight Riders gear up for another nail-biting season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), a team of doctors at Calcutta Medical Research Institute (CMRI), part of the CK Birla Hospitals, will be working in tandem to ensure health and medical needs of players are well taken care of.

CMRI is the official Medical Partner of Kolkata Knight Riders and will provide expertise of its world-class orthopaedic and sports medicine specialists to the team.

Moreover, CK Birla Hospitals’ newly launched state-of-the-art emergency ambulance service will also be accompanying the players during their games and stay in Kolkata.

At the eve of the 2015 IPL season kicking off, CK Birla Hospitals CEO, Dr. Ashendu Pandey said, “It gives us great pleasure and pride to extend our support to the KKR team. Our team of renowned doctors and well-equipped ambulance service will be with the KKR team in Kolkata. On behalf of CK Birla Hospitals and Kolkata, I wish the KKR team best of luck for the upcoming season.”
