Chandrayaan-3: NASA administrator Bill Nelson congratulates ISRO, India over lunar mission success

NASA administrator Bill Nelson on Wednesday congratulated India when its lunar mission Chandrayaan 3 successfully soft-land on the Moon.

India became the fourth country in the world to successfully soft-land a spacecraft on the Moon.

Nelson tweeted: "Congratulations @isro on your successful  Chandrayaan-3 lunar South Pole landing! And congratulations to #India on being the 4th country to successfully soft-land a spacecraft on the Moon. We’re glad to be your partner on this mission!"

In a game-changing feat in India's space exploration, the country's lunar mission Chandrayaan-3 successfully soft-landed on the South Polar region of the moon on Wednesday as a nation of 1.4 billion people erupted in joy and pride ending an anxious wait for the moment.
