The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has aborted the first test flight for Gaganyaan mission on Saturday (October 21, 2023).
The launch was scheduled to take place from Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) in Andhra Pradesh's Sriharikota.
ISRO posted on X: "Liftoff attempt couldn't be completed."

Sources told UNI that inclement weather was said to be the reason for the rescheduling of the launch.
Gaganyaan project envisages demonstration of human spaceflight capability by launching crew of 3 members to an orbit of 400 km for a 3 days mission and bring them back safely to earth, by landing in Indian sea waters.
