2 crore between 15-18 yr get Covid vaccine, PM says momentum should continue

New Delhi/UNI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged people to continue the momentum of vaccination of the age group 15-18 year, as Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said the number of vaccinations has crossed two crore mark.

"Excellent! Well done my young friends. Let us continue this momentum. Urging everyone to follow all COVID-19 related protocols and get vaccinated, if you haven’t already," Prime Minister said in a tweet.

Mandaviya, in a tweet, said over two crore children between the age group of 15-18 have vaccinated against Covid-19 since January 3.

"Congratulations to all my young friends who got vaccinated," he said.

Vaccination for 15-18 year age group started on January 3. 'Precautions' doses for those above 60 with co-morbidities, and the frontline workers will start From January 10.
