5-magnitude earthquake hits western Iran
Tehran/Xinhua/UNI: A five-magnitude earthquake hit Saleh Abad region in Iran's western province of Ilam at 12:46 p.m. local time (0816 GMT) on Wednesday, according to Iran's Seismological Center.
The focus of the earthquake was at the depth of 11 km, 33.524 degrees north latitude and 45.997 degrees east longitude.
No immediate reports are available about the possible casualties or injuries.
