5.8 magnitude earthquake hits Andaman and Nicobar islands, no casualty
Port Blair, May 22 (IBNS): An earthquake measuring 5.8 on the Richter Scale hit Andaman And Nicobar Islands on Wednesday, officials said.
The earthquake hit the island at around 6.09 am, as per India Meteorological Department website.
The epicentre of the quake was located at 13.9 degrees north and 93 degrees east.
The quake hit at a depth of 10 kms.
No casualty or damage to property have been reported so far.
