Bangladesh registers 36 new COVID-19 infections
Dhaka: Bangladesh registered 36 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours which is the lowest daily count recorded since Apr 6, 2020, media reports said on Tuesday.
No death due to the virus was recorded during the 24 hours period.
The death toll due to the disease now stands at 29,123.
As many as 6,885 samples were tested across the country, for a positivity rate of 0.52 percent, bdnews24 reports.
Dhaka, the capital city, registered the highest number of infections at 27.
